Pakistan-China Technical and Vocational Institute enrols 366 students

The Pakistan-China Technical and Vocational Institute (PCT&VI) has admitted 366 students from Gwadar and Balochistan in diverse programs, including Tourism, English Language, Maritime and Port Management, Software Technology, Chinese Language and Culture, Mechatronics, and E-Commerce. Approximately 500 students participated in entry tests for admission. Classes are set to begin on January 22, with programs designed in collaboration with the Shandong Institute of Commerce and Technology (SICT), China. The institute, completed in 20 months under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) at a cost of $10 million, aims to enhance the skills of the local population for the growth of Gwadar Port City.
