The Senate was informed that Gwadar investors benefit from a 23-year tax holiday within the fully operational Gwadar Free Zone. With New Gwadar International Airport active since January 20, 2025, and improved highway connectivity, the region is set to boost trade in agriculture, minerals, and fisheries. Spread across 2,281 acres at Gwadar Port, the Free Zone offers long-term leases, duty exemptions, and strong logistics support to enhance economic growth and attract investment.
