Govt Sets Aside Over Rs14.2bn for Gwadar-Linked Development
The federal government has allocated over Rs14.2 billion in the 2026–27 Public Sector Development Programme for Gwadar and key connectivity projects. Major investments will support road networks, the New Gwadar International Airport, rail connectivity, and port infrastructure while enhancing urban services such as water supply, sanitation, public safety, and education. These initiatives reinforce Gwadar’s strategic importance and accelerate its transformation into a leading trade, logistics, and economic hub.
