40 union councils in Gwadar, Lasbela finalise development plans
Forty union councils in Gwadar and Lasbela have finalised Union Council Development Plans (UCDPs) under the Gwadar Lasbela Livelihoods Support Project (GLLSP-II), backed by IFAD and the government. Developed through community consultations and private partnerships, these five-year plans aim to address local priorities, mobilise resources, and strengthen resilience. Officials praised the initiative as a landmark for community-driven planning in Balochistan, ensuring inclusive rural development and long-term socio-economic progress.
